LOUIS VUITTONが創業160年の歴史の中で様々なアーティストとの交流やコラボレーションを振り返る展示「LOUIS VUITTON &」が 3月19日から原宿Jingで始まりました。

LOUIS VUITTON &” an exhibition to look back on LOUIS VUITTON’s interactions and collaborations with various artists in its 160 years of history, has opened at Jing in Harajuku from 19 March.

弊社は、Exhibition各部屋の雰囲気や展示物を伝える動画制作と、アイドルグループJO1のLOUIS VUITTON & 紹介ツアー動画ディレクションを担当させていただきました。

We were in charge of producing a video showing the atmosphere and exhibits in each room of the exhibition, as well as a video introducing LOUIS VUITTON & with JO1.

このExhibitionでは、山本寛斎、藤原ヒロシ（FRAGMENT DESIGN）、草間彌生、NIGO、村上隆をはじめとした日本を代表するアーティストとのコラボレーションを一同に紹介。カール・ラガーフェルド、シンディ・シャーマン、川久保玲、フランク・ゲーリーなど現代を代表するクリエーターによるアイコニックなモノグラムを再解釈したバッグも必見。展示は、10の部屋で構成されています。
個人的に注目したのは、ROOM2に展示されている特注トランク。フェルメールの伝説的絵画「牛乳を注ぐ女」を運ぶためにアムステルダム国立美術館の依頼でオーダーメイドされ、アムステルダムから東京まで、傑作を無事に運送する目的で作られたそうな。

The exhibition features collaborations with some of Japan’s leading artists, including Kansai Yamamoto, Hiroshi Fujiwara(FRAGMENT DESIGN), Yayoi Kusama, NIGO and Takashi Murakami.
Don’t miss the bags reinterpreting iconic monograms by world-renowned creators Karl Lagerfeld, Cindy Sherman, Rei Kawakubo and Frank Gehry.
My personal attention was drawn to the custom-made trunk on display in ROOM 2. It was made to order by the National Gallery of Amsterdam to carry Vermeer’s legendary painting “The Milkmaid”, and was intended to transport the masterpiece safely from Amsterdam to Tokyo.
